Almost one third females have been suffered from urinary incontinence, which causes inconvenience of daily life and implement of social activities. This article mainly describes caring experience of a female who received a surgery for stress incontinence. Gordon’s functional assessment was used to evaluate patient’s problems via interview, observation, and direct clinical care. There are three problems identified, including knowledge insufficient ,anxiety and social isolation. Exhaustive information for patient education and mental support were provided to help patient developing a positive attitude to face her ongoing therapy. Hope the nursing experience can help our colleagues to provide clients who experienced similar situation and give them human individualized care. |
