精神分裂症病人的生活品質

Quality of Life in Patients with Schizophrenia

健康相關生活品質(health related quality of life, HRQL)的概念常被用來評價健康照護。由於精神病病人的生活品質較一般大眾來得差，因此本文藉由探討影響精神分裂症病人生活品質的因素，研擬增進病人對藥物的認知及副作用的處理能力、減少被社會烙印的感受、安排病人參加適切地復健計畫等改善措施，使全人照護之理念更為落實。

The concept of the health related quality of life (HRQL) has been commonly used as a screening and outcome measure. In general, patients with mental illnesses often have lower quality of life than those of general populations. The aims of this article were to review the factors associated with the quality of life of schizophrenic patients and propose possible strategies that can improve patients’ abilities to manage medication side effects and decrease perception of being stigmatized, and provide patients with better rehabilitation programs. Healthcare providers are encouraged to use holistic care approach to improve the quality of life of schizophrenic patients.
