某醫學中心住院病人壓瘡盛行率及發生壓瘡相關因素探討

Prevalence of Pressure Ulcers and Associated Factors among Patients from a Medical Center

本研究目的為探討某醫學中心住院病人發生壓瘡之狀況，並進一步瞭解壓瘡危險因子與壓瘡發生之相關性。採橫斷式研究法普查北部某醫學中心85年某日之全部內外科病房住院之成人病患，共收案2520人。研究者檢視每一位病患之全身皮膚並以調查表收集個案資料。研究結果發現：壓瘡盛行率與台灣醫學中心之研究結果相仿，而個案活動能力、科別、過去病史、單位屬性及是否為老人與壓瘡形成有關。

The purposes of this study were to investigate the prevalence of pressure ulcers among patients from a medical center and to explore the possible factors associated with pressure ulcers. A crosssectional survey with a total of 2520 adult patients was conducted in 1996. Demographic data were obtained and skin inspection was performed. The results showed similar prevalence of pressure ulcers to the previously reported figures in Taiwan. The current research suggested that the presence of pressure ulcers was significantly associated with mobility, disease category, disease history, department, and age.
