Music Therapy-a newly developed clinical skills-is defined as “a therapy to skillfully, using music, to maintain and better off patients physically, mentally and emotionally”. In recent years, more and more occupational therapists and nursing specialists have proposed that music be used onto medication and endorsed the use of music therapy into medication in academic journals, with concrete and convincing figures or hands-on experiences. Lots of literatures in eyesight related functions, beta-endorphin and psychology have scientifically backed the music therapy. Music therapy are very often taken as the auxiliaries for such fields of alleviating pain, soothing anxiety, enhancing sensory functions, strengthening growth in earlier ages and caring for health with diseases frequently seen in the elderly. Involvement of music therapy is usually auxiliary in attributes. The personnel, even lacking music backgrounds, could utilize music therapy into medications in various fields. Music therapy is a meaningful therapy and is capable of significantly helping patients. It can bring up warmth and pleasure into the medical environment and provide humanity ambiance in routine clinical procedures. |
