The allergic reactions is induced by daily dietary intake may cause disturbance in our daily lives because various forms of symptoms may occur in gastrointestinal, dermatological, respiratory and other systems. An English proverb that ”What is food to one, may be to others bitter poison” describes a partly truth, incidentally, this might be adopted from the statement made by an ancient Roman philosopher Lucretius (95-91B.C.) after his long term observations on the dietary intake causing some unusual reactions occurred in the human body. Indeed, this common and important issue of diet and its relationship to the allergic reaction has long been noticed, studied, and widely discussed in the professional fields.This report is summarize the previous studies on the dietary intake in relation to the allergy of respiratory tracts. It is expected that understanding the etiology and mechanisms of these respiratory hypersensitivity will enhance the development of certain effective remedy for prevention and management of this long-existing disorders. |
