Introduction to a New Nursing Care Model: Nurse-family Partnership

護理家庭夥伴關係（NFP）是具實證基礎的創新照護模式，目的在幫助生活上有危機的新手母親及其孩子。由受過訓練的護理師來執行持續性和密集性的家庭訪視，通常會在新生兒出生之前開始，進行2年半左右的家庭訪視。NFP照護模式在美國已推行到各州，研究成果證實可以改善新手母親妊娠期的健康、增加照顧小孩的能力、降低兒童虐待、忽略及傷害，以及減少母親短時間內再懷孕等，本文章也進一步說明在荷蘭、加拿大及英國推行NFP照護模式的成果。

The Nurse-Family partnership (NFP) is an innovative evidence-based nursing care model. NFP model aims to improve the lives of new mothers and their infants encountering crisis. NFP model is that specially trained nurses start providing home care to pregnant women before their infants are born. The home care will continue on a regular basis until two and a half years after their infants are born. The NFP model has been implemented in the USA. The studies have shown that the outcomes of the implementation of NFP model include improving pregnant women' health, decreasing the rates of child abuse, neglect and injury, and minimizing post-partum women's risk of re-pregnancy in a short spell. This article also further describes the outcomes of implementation of NFP model in Netherlands, Canada and United Kingdom.
