一位外籍勞工罹患絨毛膜癌接受首次化學治療之照護經驗

A Nursing Experience for a Patient with Choriocarcinoma Receiving Chemotherapy

本文是一位在台擔任看護的24歲女性外籍勞工因罹患絨毛膜癌首次化學治療的照護經驗。護理期間為2011年11月15日至30日，筆者以Gordon十一項功能評估為基礎，經由觀察、會談及透過仲介人員翻譯等方式收集各項資料，確立個案的護理問題有焦慮、知識缺失、口腔黏膜障礙等。於護理過程中主動關懷、傾聽及陪伴，並透過仲介人員翻譯，了解個案關心的問題協助渡過治療過程，經濟困難則照會社工師尋求勞工保險及民間關懷基金會團體協助支付醫療費用，減輕個案壓力，協助其面對疾病及後續治療。本文提供相關領域護理同仁做為照護之參考。

This article describes the nursing experience for a foreign 24-year-old female patient receiving chemotherapy for the first time because of choriocarcinoma. The nursing period was from November 15 to 30, 2011. Following Gordon's 11 Functional Pattern Assessment Tool, data were collected via observation, interview, and interpretation. The identified nursing problems included anxiety, knowledge deficit, and oral mucosa injury secondary to chemotherapy. Through oral interpretation, the author applied unique functions of nursing: active caring, listening and companionship while attempting to understanding patient's concerns and assisting the patient in going through the treatment process. With the social worker's search for financial support from labor insurance and charity foundations, the patient's medical bills were resolved. The patient was able to face the disease and treatment process with a positive attitude with the support of medical professions in physical, psychological, and social aspects. The author expects that this nursing experience can be used as a reference for other nurses taking care of similar patients.
