Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate effect of baseball training period on dynamic visual acuity (DVA). Methods: 139 male baseball players with training period from 0.2 to 16 years participated voluntarily this study. ATHEVISION computer software was used to measure dynamic visual acuity. All subjects measured visual fatigue, static visual acuity, and dynamic visual acuity, respectively. Results: The result of this study was show that DVA increased within 6 years of training period and during 14 to 16 years of training period, but it decreased during 6 to 14 years of training period. Conclusion: This result was similar with DVA-age relationship curve. However, baseball player's DVA have more vary, particularly during 10-18 years old. |
