Purposes: This study were to analyze the setting of woodball fireway with Item Response Theory (IRT). Methods: The data of the evaluation of woodball fireway and scores in 2005 Intercollegiate Athletic Competitions was analyzed. The FACETS software was used to analyze three-facet Rasch model. Results: Through IRT we could describe and classify the performance of woodball fireway and scores. Furthermore, the player's unexpected response was also tested and overtook. Conclusion: The Item Response Theory could better analyze woodball fireway and scores, and that setting of woodball fireway was as important as gate area . |
