The researcher refers the Organizational Efficiency Scale of Provincial Recreation Sports/fitness Club proposed by Kent (1995) and develops the Organizational Efficiency Scale of Recreation Sports/Fitness Club, then, take 460 employees of the recreation sports/fitness clubs in northern Taiwan as the subjects for exploring the construct validity and construct reliability of this scale. Statistic software, LISREL8.30, was applied for conducting the second-order factor of Structural equation modeling (SEM) on the data. It's shown in the findings that the second-order factor of the Organizational Efficiency Scale of Recreation Sports/Fitness Club is a valid construct. The overall fit measures of the measurement model are as the followings: χ2=273.93, GFI=0.93, RMSEA=0.05, SRMR=0.07, CFI=0.92, NNFI=0.91, PNFI=0.73, CN=203.51, χ2/df=3.19. This indicates that all the four potential dependant variables, including organization, decision-making, personnel relationship, and job satisfaction, as well as fifteen observational variables could all be taken as valid indexes for measuring organizational efficiency. Significant reliability is shown in the reliability of the entire construct, 0.91, and that of the four individual potential dependant variables, from 0.69 to 0.80. Accordingly, this scale of construct validity and reliability is applicable to recreation sports/fitness clubs. |
