Mutual communication has replaced traditional uni-directional coaching style as one of the mainstreams of medical education in Taiwan. Thus understanding and utilizing feedback techniques would play a pivot role to increase the effectiveness of the educational activities. In this paper, we will discuss about the principles and characters of feedback, related techniques and the ways to apply feedback to attain the anticipated goals of medical education. In addition, we will give some practical scenarios in medical educational activities immediately after explaining related theories and principles. We hope that tutors and students in medical fields can realize the core concepts of feedback as well as doing it well after reading this paper. |
