These quibbles aside, the book is written in a language and style accessible to non-specialists, although some readers may feel misled by section headings that are not entirely reflective of the material that follows (e.g. p.17), and wishing for more focused chapter introductions and conclusions (as helpfully provided for Chapter 7).
