This article mainly discussing about how Beijing, was acting both as the core influence and the information centre of contemporary (Mainland) China's literary world, to bring about great influences towards the growing educated youth (Bei Dao, the representative poet of ”obscure poem” is the preferred case analysis of this article) via absolute predominance over creativity and publication resources, in between the later period of cultural revolution and the initial period of the new era. In this golden age of contemporary poem of China, there is a contradistinctive poet to the former-Huang Xiang, originated from Guizhou who moves forward to Beijing and outspreading poetic activities involved with popularization & pan-politicization. The differences of personalities and styles between Bei Dao & Huang Xiang just right about to both compete for the voice of history of poetry, and to act as the contradistinguish/confrontation for aesthetics of poetry. |
