Background and purpose: Due to changes in technology, many activities of daily living have become electronic, the “Shih-Wu EADL Evaluation Tool” (SWEET) is an electronic activities of daily living (EADL) assessment tool developed by oc-cupational therapists. The purpose of this study was to explored a further reliability and validity analysis of the SWEET, including test- retest reliability and ceiling ef-fect. Methods: The participants were 22 healthy people, and 50 people with schizo-phrenia aged 20–64 were recruited in this study on a voluntary basis. The 72 indi-viduals were each asked to answer the SWEET test twice, with a one-week interval between the two tests. Results: The ICC of the two tests was 0.987 in healthy people, and the ICC of the two tests was 0.961 in people with schizophrenia, which is high reliability standards. And no ceiling effect appeared. Conclusion: Our preliminary findings show that the SWEET has high test-retest reliability for people with schiz-ophrenia, supporting the future application of SWEET as an assessment tool for electronic activities of daily living (EADL).
