Background: The Ministry of Health and Welfare considers that the improvement of the physical activity ability of the elderly is especially important for delaying disability. From 2010 to 2022, 113 senior fitness club pilot projects were established across the country. Objective: To explore the factors influencing the performance of senior fitness clubs. Materials and methods: The service performance data of clubs in 2022 were analyzed; the dependent variables included the average number of monthly service visits and per capital visits, and the independent variables were approved years, club types, urban and rural areas, and month. Results: Approved 111-year clubs perform better than 110-year clubs; club type S1 monthly service performance is the better in the aggregate plan; month significantly influences monthly service performance of clubs in the aggregate plan, this plan, and non-plan. Conclusion: This study found that the club type and the month were the factors influencing the service volume of senior fitness clubs. The Silver Hair Fitness Club project enables the elderly to use professional fitness equipment and services under the guidance of professional sports instructors, so as to prevent and delay disability. |
