“Crowdfunding” is a network financing model of small businesses in the 21st century with the characteristics of the Internet era. Reward-based crowdfunding is one of the most well-known types of crowdfunding for consumers. In reward-based crowdfund-ing, the crowdfunding platform acts as a broker to publish information for sponsors, keep project funds raised from supporters, monitor project completion, and facilitate product or service transactions between sponsors and supporters. This article starts from the analysis on specific transaction behaviors of reward-based crowdfunding, and analyzes the legal re-lationships such as sale contracts and brokerage contracts in accordance with the provisions of several types of typical contracts in the Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China, and on this basis analyze Shen Zhiqiang v. Qiku and JD. com sellers’ liability dispute case, and discuss the contract law of product-reward-based crowdfunding. |
