It believed that the activity of global institutions as a manifestation of global governance would carry many people’s lives into a better world through cooperation between various actors from different sectors and the development of a world order that respects humanity and justice for different parties. However, there are parties and even experts in international relations who have contradictory views on global governance. Therefore, the focus of this paper is to trace back the main reasons or basic philosophical argumentation that encouraged the development of global governance and then enhance and enrich the necessary arguments. The paper also tries to provide a framework of re-understanding of global governance by using an organizational approach that emphasizing aspects of the organization as a social entity that has goals and to achieve goals effectively. It requires a collaborative network as a reflection of the division of tasks to create balance and harmony. A systematic analysis of the literature includes in the article. It seeks to summarize the arguments made by the development of global institutions and how the assertion could enhance global governance. The paper concludes that since the global problem becomes more complex and dynamic from time to time. Then it will require well-managed institutions on a global scale to compensate and to provide the ideal balance for these growing complex and dynamic problems, respect that the flexibility, freedom, sovereignty, and autonomy of each state. Moreover, global governance will protect developing countries and other small actors as everything becomes transparent and accountable since the inherent obligations of global institutions to enforce the rule of law legally. |
