In recent years, Taiwan has been promoted a new curriculum “Grade 1-9 Curriculum” which focuses on students' practice, experience and introspection. More and more schools have put a lot of emphasis on this curriculum of learning comprehensive activities since the promotion. The present study examined the results of the “Trai-yaru Week” activity that have been conducted by the government of Hyogo County in Japan. The main purpose of this study was to understand the goal and meaning of “Trai-yaru Week” and the reason why junior high school students are taken as the sample. After reviewing the background and process of the “Trai-yaru Week”, results are then presented. The result revealed that students gain more confidence in learning ability and diversify learning willingness after participating in the “Trai-yaru Week”. In addition, the community support network formed by the “Trai-yaru Week” help to clarify the issues and present problems between the interactions and cooperation among student's family, local community and governmental authority. |
