The purpose of this study was to develop a conductive coating that can be used as electrode to produce free chlorine to prevent marine biofouling by applying an anodic potential in the seawater. The binder for the conductive coating was silicate resin. The coating is graphite powders having particle size 3~5 µm. In the electric resistivity test, the conductive coating which has lowest electric resistivity 0.08 Ω·cm. The conductive coating addition graphite as anode can produce optional free chlorine and has good durability. The constant current or potential to produce free chlorine at constant time, and the best electrode for using were determined in Shin -Der Power Plant. |
