The corrosion resistance of anodic coating was evaluated by salt spray tests and electrochemical corrosion tests. The laboratoy accelerated corrosion tests indicated that anodized zinc performed significantly better than the bare galvanizing steel as evaluated by the salt fog test. AC impedance measurements proved that the mechanism of anodic coating protected steel different from galvanizing steel in 3% NaCl solution. |
