The practice of University Social Responsibility (USR) is an important trend in the transformation of higher education. The Ministry of Education also launched the ''University Social Responsibility Practice Plan'' in 2018 to assist universities in developing their own advantages and characteristics and assist in the transformation of teaching venues. This study uses the Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis method as a framework, taking a medical university in Taiwan as the research object, to explore the broad social benefits created by the university while carrying out ''university social responsibility''. The study is conducted from three aspects: the university itself, teachers and students. The estimated social return on investment is 1.74, indicating that the social benefits created are greater than the cost of investment, and also specifically presents the actions and contributions of a medical university in central Taiwan to university social responsibility. |
