This quasi-experimental study examined how a 30-session life education curriculum influenced well-being among 91 upper-grade Taiwanese elementary students. Against the backdrop of declining life satisfaction in grades 5-9, the experimental group received gratitude-focused lessons using picture books and experiential activities. Results showed participants demonstrated significantly improved well-being, though quantitative gains in gratitude were not statistically significant. These effects remained consistent across different grades and genders. Qualitative analysis further revealed that students developed greater happiness and cultivated more grateful attitudes through the program. |
