連續性產後衛教對母育信心與母育能力成效探討

The Continuum of Postpartum Education Facilitates the Attainment of Maternal Confidence and Competence

背景：產後婦女面臨生理與生活上的劇變，給予充足的衛教資訊，能降低母親無法達成母職的挫敗感、也能增進其照顧新生兒的能力。
目的：旨在探討延伸產後衛教對產後婦女母育信心及母育能力之影響。
方法：對照組與實驗組各納入70位產後婦女，所有母親在產後3-5天給予常規產後衛教指導，對照組於3-5天後出院返家、而實驗組則於入住附設產後護理之家後，依據個別需要給予產後衛教。兩組均在產後3-5天出院前及滿月時，以結構式問卷進行資料蒐集及分析。
結果：實驗組經介入連續性產後衛教，母育信心與母育能力於後測成績與對照組相比，皆具顯著差異。
結論：延續產後衛教時程可有效提升產後婦女母育信心與母育能力，此結果可提供擬定產後照護方案及相關教育之參考。

Background: Women in the postpartum period experience substantial physiological, psychological, and lifestyle changes. Providing adequate educational support can alleviate maternal stress and enhance the ability to care for newborns.
Purpose: This study aimed to examine the effects of continual postpartum education on maternal confidence and competence among postpartum women.
Methods: A total of 70 postpartum women were recruited and assigned to either a control group or an experimental group. All participants received routine postpartum education within 3 -5 days after delivery. The experimental group additionally received ongoing individualized education during their stay at a postpartum nursing care center. Structured questionnaires were administered for both groups prior to discharge at 3-5 days postpartum and again at 30 days postpartum. Data were analyzed using independent t-tests.
Results: The experimental group demonstrated significantly higher maternal confidence and maternal competence compared with the control group following the continual postpartum education intervention.
Conclusion: Continual postpartum education effectively enhanced maternal confidence and competence. These findings provide valuable insights for optimizing postpartum care strategies and developing comprehensive maternal education programs.
