This study examines integrating social-emotional learning into life education for 12 fourth-grade students in Tainan. Using action research, a 24-session curriculum was implemented with methods like picture books, videos, and experiential activities to develop self-awareness, empathy, and responsibility. Results show that the approach effectively promoted students’holistic development across cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dimensions. Students demonstrated empathetic understanding and translated learning into concrete acts of care and gratitude. The study concludes that life education should emphasize experiential learning to deepen social-emotional development, providing a reference for elementary-level curriculum integration. |
