Grammar interference errors are the type of errors that most clearly reflect the influence of the available knowledge in the mother tongue on the structure of the target language. These errors bear the imprint of culture and the mother tongue, have regularity and community characteristics. The results of language comparison and error analysis show that Taiwanese learners of Vietnamese often make similar grammar interference errors, but these errors are very different from those made by learners from other countries. Through statistics, classification and analysis of errors from Vietnamese writing materials of Taiwanese learners, such as assignments, essays, tests, we aim to identify some typical grammar interference errors made by Taiwanese learners when learning to write Vietnamese, and find the main causes leading to these errors. The article also proposes some ways to overcome grammar interference errors for learners from a cognitive perspective. The research results will contribute to improving the quality of teaching Vietnamese writing skills for Taiwanese learners in particular and teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language in general. |
