2023年臺北市境外移入茲卡病毒感染症家庭群聚事件調查

Investigation of an Imported Zika Virus Infection Family Cluster, Taipei City, 2023

我國於2016年將茲卡病毒感染症列為第二類法定傳染病，確診病例皆為零星境外移入個案。本調查係2023年5月由機場發燒篩檢站攔檢發現之國內首起茲卡病毒感染症境外移入家庭群聚事件。考量國內茲卡病毒感染症通報確診個案數極少，地方政府衛生局第一線公衛人員對於該疾病之特性及防治較為陌生，本調查除能增加相關人員對於該疾病之認知，也可強化人員防治經驗及知能，對於我國積極防治以杜絕蟲媒傳染病於國內發生傳播的防疫人員而言，不啻是為一次寶貴防治經驗。

In 2016, Taiwan classified Zika virus infection as a Category II notifiable infectious disease, and all confirmed cases were sporadic imported infections. This investigation, conducted in May 2023, was the first family cluster of imported Zika virus infection to be found through airport fever screening. Considering the low number of confirmed Zika virus cases reported domestically, frontline public health personnel at local health bureaus were relatively unfamiliar with the characteristics and prevention measures of this disease. This investigation not only enhanced relevant personnel’s understanding of the disease but also strengthened their prevention experience and expertise. For epidemic prevention personnel dedicated to proactively preventing the occurrence and spread of vector-borne diseases in Taiwan, this investigation provided a valuable experience in disease control.
