古龍武俠小說的英雄形象與現代意涵

The Heroes and Their Modernity in Gu Long 's Wuxia Novels

本文主要是探討古龍武俠小說中的英雄形象之於古龍武俠小說之所以「超越新派」，以及對於金庸以來新式武俠小說的武俠敘事傳統所產生的質變現象。這個質變現象顯現在古龍跳脫武俠小說所慣用的「俠客成長歷程」的敘事公式與設計，一改約定俗成、甚至形成敘事傳統的武俠江湖世界認知，投射出臺灣現代社會（臺北）都市人的心理樣態與生命想像情境。古龍武俠小說中所出現的現代英雄的質變現象，顯示古龍新式武俠小說所經歷的現代自我內涵，以及現代社會文化結構的影響，特別是一一九六0年代末期到一九七0年代的台北都市與現代社會語境。

It aims to interpret the concept texture of the ''secular heroes'' in Gu Long's wuxia novels, examining how they transcend the ''new school'' of wuxia fiction and bring about a qualitative transformation in the narrative tradition of modern wuxia novels, which has been prevalent since Jin Yong. This qualitative transformation is evident in Gu Long's departure from the conventional narrative formula of the ''hero's journey'' typical of wuxia novels. By breaking away from the established narrative tradition and the conventional understanding of the wuxia world, Gu Long projects the psychological state and life imagination of urbanites in modern Taiwanese society, particularly in Taipei. It reflects the modern self-concept and the influence of contemporary social and cultural structures. This is especially significant in the context of Taipei's urban and modern social milieu from the late 1960s to the 1970s.
