本文評述2001年到2002年間在日本出版的有關中國音韻學著作，評述對象為日本和外籍學者的專著及學術論文。先分為「專著」和「論文」兩個部分，「論文」部分再分為（1）研究動向及論著目錄、（2）版本研究、（3）上古音研究、（4）中古音研究、（5）近代音研究及（6）現代音研究而進行評述。

This article critically discussed about the various studies on the Chinese, Phonology which were published between 2001 and 2002 in Japan.
The discussion was divided into (1) the present situation of studies and the bibliographical inventories, (2) the research of editions, (3) the phonology of Archaic Chinese, (4) the phonology of Ancient Chinese, (5) the phonology of Medieval Chinese and (6) the phonology of Modem Chinese.
