The purpose of this paper is to delve into the development of Orthodox-change Theory of Chinese poetics. The content of this paper can be divided into three parts: first, the origin and the development of the orthodox-change theory; second, the influence of theory of orthodox-change on the poem writing; third, a criticism to the orthodox-change theory.
