The theory of Transactional Analysis (TA) has been introduced and accepted quite widely in R. O. C. for the past few years. The reasearch and report on TA Group, educationally or therapeutically, remain to be explored. The purpose of this paper intends to report on a case study of a TA Counseling Group led by the author at the National Taipei Institute of Technology. A brief outline of the TA theory was reviewed. The summary account of the group process was presented including a slide-set of the major group procedures of the group. As a case study, the implication of the group might be limited. It is author's hope that further research is to be carried out by concerned mental health workers and reasearchers. The author also provided suggestions regarding the qualifications and the needs Of in-service training programs both for the TA counselors and the counselors in general. |
