The purpose of this study were to investigate the factors influencing teacher's anger intensity. In this study, several self-report scales were administrated to 932 teachers from junior high schools. The main findings were: (1) Female teachers tended to demonstrate higher anger intensity than male teachers did; (2) Senior teachers demonstrated less anger intensity than juniors did; (3) The two attributional styles were significantly different in their anger intensity; (4) Self-assertion and irrational belief were strongly related to the anger intensity, the former two could effectively predict the anger intensity. |
