This paper explores the impact of Moore's Law on the efficiency of semiconductor wafer manufacturing. The results show that from the perspective of return on investment, companies following Moore's Law perform well in terms of gross margin, return of assets, and operating margin. In terms of production efficiency, companies adhering to Moore's Law achieve a higher proportion of optimal efficiency each year. Regarding trends in productivity changes, it is found that individual companies' management practices and strategic planning are more important than technological leadership. |
