The gender pay gap has long been a significant issue in the pursuit of gender equality. In our country's job market, although women have made remarkable progress in education and career attainment, wage inequality still exists. Even in the same positions, women's average salaries are typically lower than those of men. This paper aims to analyze the measurement of the gender pay gap, highlighting the similarities and differences in how our country and others calculate this disparity. It will further explore the key factors influencing the gender pay gap in our context and propose relevant policy recommendations. |
