This study developed a framework for productive aging retirement preparation courses and explored their implementation methods. Through focus group interviews, this study analyzed the perspectives of individuals nearing retirement by using methods based on grounded theory, including open, axial, and selective coding to analyze the interview transcripts. The analysis results revealed three core content areas, namely personal growth, family care, and social participation, which comprised 12 items. Additionally, six implementation methods and six supporting services were proposed for such courses. The findings provide practical recommendations for educators, policymakers, and older adult education organizations promoting retirement preparation education. |
