This research paper is aimed to analyze the dynamic of European Union’s trade and economy policies under the global political framwork through the tools of Neo-Gramsician’s International Political Economy (IPE)perspectives, in particular focused on the transformations in the China-US rivalry structure which is the international relation pradiigm in 21stcentury. Firstly.this research will briefly review the global political economy in recent 30 years, and views the 2008 finanical crisis as turn point to clarify the changing globalization, and therefore China’s rise, EU-US tension and Internantional hegemony status, which all mean the reorganization of world order. Secondly, this paper will take the viewpoints of Neo-Gramscian, which is a critical school of International Political Economy, to analyze and inteprete the structumscian elements for the developments of EU trade and economy policies. In the conclusion, it will use Neo-Gramscian analysis tools regarding the configutration of social forces, including global common sense, material capability and organization,to inteprete how EU participate and response to the transforing global politicaleconomic order in 21stcentury, and the likely advance in the future. |
