Nowadays, the mainstream of electronic games is online multiplayer games, but many cheating and fairness issues derive from the online multiplayer games. Using the feature, public and transparency, of blockchain technology could solve fairness issues. However, Games applying blockchain are usually specific for certain functions and lack universal usability, accessibility, and reusability, making the development of blockchain games complicated. This research designed a standardized framework of blockchain game development, containing registration process, gameplay, virtual asset issuance, and virtual asset marketplace. To solve online multiplayer game fairness issues, the framework could provide game developers required function modules to develop blockchain games. This research uses“gambling games”and“virtual asset trading”as examples to validate the framework. This framework could solve the fairness problems of the rules in gambling games and ensure the safety of the gamers’virtual assets trading. |
