未竟事宜：探討中國社會對「統一」的情感

Unfinished Legacy: Discussion on the Sentiment Towards“Reunification”in China’s Society

本文藉由完形學派的理論，探討中國社會對「統一」的情感。因為「百年國恥」的歷史遺緒，及傳統教條的代際傳遞，使目前中國社會承繼祖輩的悲情與恐懼，以及對歷史的責任感與使命感，實現「統一」成為未竟事宜。中國社會個體藉由內攝的逃避策略，將歷史及傳統不假思索地吸收，並持與臺灣現況不符的認知：認為臺灣民眾傾向「統一」。

This article discusses the sentiment towards “reunification” in Chinese society through the theory of gestalt psychology. Due to inheriting the narrative of the “century of humiliation” and traditional doctrines, present-day Chinese society acquires its ancestors’ sorrows and fears, as well as historical duty and mission, turning “reunification” into an unfinished legacy. Through the avoidance strategy of introjection, Chinese society absorbs knowledge of history and tradition without questioning. In addition, it believes erroneously regarding Taiwan’s current situation that the Taiwanese public longs for “reunification”.
