As children grow up, their communication behaviors are expected to gradually develop into socially accepted and effective means of conveying intentions through language. However, for children with developmental delays, this process may stagnate, leaving their communication behaviors at an immature stage. These age-inappropriate behaviors are often misinterpreted as behavioral problems. Therefore, for these children, the primary focus should be on adjusting communication behaviors, rather than merely addressing superficially behavioral problems.
In order to effectively support children with developmental delays, it is crucial to first clarify whether their behavioral problems are related to immature communication behaviors. This study aims to explore the relationship between behavioral problems and communication behaviors, with the goal of providing a better understanding and adjustment of children's behaviors through these insights. |
