Lu Xun is famous for ''The True Story of Ah Q'', in which the ''Ah Q'' he created became the code name of old Chinese national character. However, during the period of the civil war between KMT and the Communist Party, Lu Xun chose to help the Communist Party that made many contemporary literati deviate from KMT, and made Lu Xun a contributor of red new China. Although the pioneers of the new China valued Lu Xun a lot, it was fortunately that the Chinese medical concept was not affected by Lu Xun. Lu Xun's impression of Chinese medicine was formed when his father died at a young age because of a Chinese medical practitioner's improper treatment. Therefore, Lu Xun had no good impression of Chinese medicine, and even went to Japan to study western medicine for 2 years. Finally, because of his own talent, aptitude, and thinking, he thought that literature could save China better than medicine, and then, he gave up medicine to be a man of letters, and had a great achievement at last. On the contrary, in Taiwan, although Chinese medicine is not fully supported by the government, Chinese medicine still progresses step by step because of the actual needs of people and the treatment effect it shows. When talking about Lu Xun's Chinese and western medical concept at the beginning of this new century, the writer thinks the Taiwan Chinese medicine circle should have introspection. Lu Xun's viewpoints of Chinese medicine could urge us to establish the Chinese medical system, clearly define the training for physicians, and carry out referral system, which could help to implement the projects good for Chinese medicine progress one by one to make Chinese medicine much better and further provide better medical service for the public. In this article, it talks about Lu Xun's pre-made will, also that physicians should make efforts to treat the diseases that could be cured and provide good medical service. As to those patients having the diseases that can't be cured, physicians shouldn't treat the diseases loathly, but do total patient care from the aspects of peaceful and soft remedy and hospice care. The last stage of Lu Xun's life had been the best model. |
