Overview of Journalism and Communication Studies in Taiwan in 2023

本文回顧2023年度期刊論文、學位論文、學術專著及學術會議等方面的相關成果，描繪傳播學門的年度研究概貌，並透過2014年與2023年的跨十年對照分析，揭示學科發展的演變軌跡。全年研究內容劃分為：新聞學、傳播學、廣告與公共關係、新媒體、廣播電視、文化創意産業共六個核心主題。研究重心聚焦於本土化關懷，並關注數字時代下媒介生態變化。研究成果展現出多元與精細並重、實踐與理論兼顧的雙重特色，同時，跨學科融合是較顯著的趨勢。此外，海峽兩岸在新聞傳播學術領域的交流與合作持續穩定，共同推動學門的發展與進步。

This paper analyzes the research status of journalism and communication studies in Taiwan based on academic achievements such as journal articles，dissertations，academic books，and academic conference presentations from 2023. Through a cross-decade comparative analysis between 2014 and 2023, it reveals the disciplinary evolution trajectory and key shifts. It outlines the knowledge landscape of Taiwan's journalism and communication studies over the past year across six major fields: journalism，communication studies，advertising and public relations，new media，broadcasting and television，and cultural and creative industries. The research finds that Taiwan's journalism and communication studies in 2023 exhibited diversity and segmentation，with a wide range of research areas that emphasize both practicality and theory，and interdisciplinary integration becoming a trend. Researchers focus on local concerns and attach importance to changes in the media ecosystem in the digital era. Meanwhile，cross-strait exchanges and cooperation in the academic field of journalism and communication remain stable.
