書評：Authoritarian Legacies and Democratic Challenges: A Review of Taiwan’s Unsuccessful Transformation

Wan-wen, Chu (瞿宛文) received her undergraduate degree in economics from National Taiwan University and earned her Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University in 1982. She subsequently taught for four years at the University of Notre Dame in the United States before returning to Taiwan to join the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at Academia Sinica, where she remained until her retirement. She is currently a joint research fellow at Academia Sinica’s Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences and an adjunct professor at the Graduate Institute of Building and Planning at National Taiwan University.
