In recent years, the digital economy has become the core of global trade and economic activities, making cross-border data transfer a widespread phenomenon in business operations. How to promote ''Data Free Flow with Trust (DFFT)'' and encourage enterprises to provide appropriate protection for data subjects while pursuing legitimate business interests is a matter of concern not only for consumers and investors but also increasingly a key consideration in international trade cooperation. The National Development Council (NDC) is actively promoting the ''Cross-Border Privacy Rules (CBPR)'' system, encouraging Taiwanese companies to integrate personal data protection into their corporate culture. This allows companies to proactively demonstrate their determination to comply with international data protection standards, thereby enhancing brand trust in the digital age and increasing international competitiveness. |
