Since the eruption of the global #MeToo movement, the religious community has also come under widespread scrutiny. This article aims to explore the perspectives of religious scholars on this issue and provide insights for both Taiwan and India, starting from the present moment. Firstly, we will delve into the perspectives of legitimate faith, false faith, and disbelief, with a primary focus on the views of Master Sheng Yen. Subsequently, we will discuss how the religious community should prevent unfortunate incidents akin to those revealed by the #MeToo movement, and propose corresponding recommendations and measures. |
