Employees are a company's greatest asset and its greatest cost. Retaining talent is the biggest challenge for any organization. Research indicates that meeting employees' needs is effective in enhancing retention. This study explored the impact of employee satisfaction with Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) on their retention intentions. A Google questionnaire survey was conducted with administrative practitioners of a regional teaching hospital as the research subjects. The reliability of the questionnaire reached 0.812. Statistics were performed with SPSS. Satisfaction with the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is positively correlated with retention intention (r=0.545; p<0.001). Regression analysis reveald that satisfaction with various aspects of the EAP, including work-related support (r=0.510; p<0.001), life support (r=0.501; p<0.001), and health support (r=0.479; p<0.001), had a significant positive impact on retention tendency. The study concluded that EAPs effectively addresd employees' immediate issues, enhanced employee satisfaction, improved job stability, boosted organizational performance, and increased retention intentions, thus addressing talent shortages and promoting sustainable business operations. |
