With the massive adoption of ChatGPT by individuals and businesses, more attention is being paid to the potential negative harms of ChatGPT applications. Therefore, this study applies the Information System Success Model framework to investigate the impact of users' AI and ChatGPT, respectively, on the use, satisfaction, and net benefits of ChatGPT. In this study, an online questionnaire survey was used, and 224 valid questionnaires were collected. The results of PLS show that: (1) ChatGPT information quality has a positive effect on the use of ChatGPT significantly; (2) ChatGPT information quality has a positive effect on satisfaction significantly; (3) the use of ChatGPT has a positive effect on satisfaction significantly; (4) the use of ChatGPT and user satisfaction have positive effects on the net benefits significantly ; (5) AI perceived ethical risk has a negative effect on the use of ChatGPT while has no significant effect on satisfacion; and (6) ChatGPT perceived ethical risk has no effects on the use and satisfaction of ChatGPT. The results provide implications and suggestions for practitioners, related authorities and users. |
