The main purpose of this study was to understand the current situation of swimming learning among high school students in Taichung City, and to further explore the relationship between learning motivation and learning attitude. The questionnaire was filled in by questionnaire method, and the ''Questionnaire on High School Students' Swimming Learning Motivation and Learning Attitude'' was compiled according to the purpose of the questionnaire and referred to the research of scholars in related fields. A questionnaire survey was conducted between April and May 2024 on senior high students, with a total of 360 valid samples. The results showed that: (1) The learning motivation and learning attitude tended to be positive, and the ''safety and health motivation'' and ''curriculum attitude'' were the highest. (2) There were significant differences in learning motivation and learning attitudes, and female students felt higher than male students. (3) There was no significant difference in learning motivation, but there was a significant difference in learning attitude, and the first grade was significantly higher than the second grade. (4) There was no significant difference in learning motivation and learning attitude among high school students' swimming ability. (5) There were significant differences in the learning motivation and learning attitude, and the students with good self-perceived physical fitness status were significantly higher than those in middle school and needed to be strengthened. (6) There was a moderate positive correlation between learning motivation and learning attitude. This study confirms that there are some significant differences in learning motivation and learning attitude, and there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and learning attitude. It is suggested that schools and swimming instructors should not only strengthen their professional knowledge of swimming teaching, but also improve the learning environment, venue facilities and curriculum arrangements to enhance students' learning motivation and attitude. |
