The purpose of this study is to research first our type of University Autonomy in the Practice of Military Academies of R.O.C(Taiwan). The Military Academies of R.O.C(Taiwan)is a university established by the Ministry of National Defense to achieve the dual purposes of studying advanced Military academics and of training professional soldier recruits. The said university is subordinate to the Ministry of the National Defense and is in charge of the training and education of the soldier and thus is involved in the improvement of the nation’s Military administration and the maintenance of National safety. Although it may be different from ordinary universities due to the specialty of its organization and missions, the Military Academies may nonetheless have the right of self-government to a certain extent when it comes to such matters as the teaching, research and learning regarding the Military academics. However, Review of the Conflict between University Autonomy and Faculty Promotion in Universities of Taiwan, and review of Grand justice interpretation of the the Military Academies may nonetheless have the right of self-government to a certain extent. all the problems will be analyzed according to the theory of university autonomy and the opinions of practice. Recommendations in the conclusion. |
