This study aims to explore global positive education re¬search from 1955 to 2024 using knowledge map and visual analy¬sis, and to provide further conclusions and recommendations. The re¬search method involves searching for positive education-related litera¬ture in the Scopus core database, exporting bibliographic data, and then using the visualization software VOSviewer for bibliometric analysis, co-citation analysis, and keyword co-occurrence analysis. This will help in comparing and drawing a scientific knowledge map to explore the most influential thematic concepts in positive education. Research findings indicate that: 1. Positive education research has shown a steady growth trend since 2015; 2. Important theoretical foundations are represented by Seligman, Peterson, Waters, and Norrish, among others; 3. Key research topics include positive education practices, the expansion of positive psy¬chology and positive education, resilience and student well-being, happi-ness and reduce age discrimination across four major dimensions; 4. Re¬search development trends now emphasize higher education, creativity, COVID-19, teacher wellbeing and teachers. This study uses quantitative research bibliometrics to analyze positive education related literature, conducts a systematic research review and integration, and summarizes it in an organized and objective manner. It can offer recommendations for academia and educators to enhance understanding of the context of positive education research. |
