在臺灣的越南文學－－論〈他鄉之夢〉

Vietnamese Literature in Taiwan－On“A Dream of Afar”

根據中華民國政府統計資料，因婚姻、求學、工作而在臺灣生活的東南亞族群已破百萬人，其中越南籍約佔成三成以上，已近四十萬人，皆是臺灣社會的重要組成。而「移民工文學獎」也讓此些東南亞族群得以用自己的母語創作，並傳播於臺灣社會。本文便以第一屆首獎，越南籍丁氏領的〈他鄉之夢〉為核心，分析其「平淡、認命」的敘事基調，並輔以社會學的研究成果，論述其處境。並也分析文章中介於中文與越文兩種語言間的意義落差與文學效果，如筆名中文是芒草香、越文卻是白兔。「女孩之身好比十二渡頭」背後，屬於越南社會文化的隱性脈絡。當然，此類文章並非越南文學的全貌，但確實是目前在臺灣日漸為人重視的「在臺越南文學」。

According to government statistics from the Republic of China, the population of Southeastern Asians living in Taiwan because of marriage, study, or work exceeds one million, among which more than 30% are Vietnamese, or nearly 400,000 individuals. They are important members of Taiwanese society. The Taiwan Literature Award for Migrants enables the Southeastern Asian population to use their native language to create works to be disseminated in Taiwan. This study focuses on the work“A Dream of Afar”by Dinh Thi Linh, a Vietnamese author, to analyze the style and tone of“plainness and acceptance of fate.”Sociological research outcomes are adopted to discuss the situations faced by migrants. In addition, this study explores the difference in meaning and literary effects between Chinese and Vietnamese languages in the work. For example, Dinh’s pen name is“Aroma of Silvergrass”in Chinese and“White Rabbit”in Vietnamese. The meaning of“The life of a girl is like 12 wharfs”lies in the implicit context of Vietnamese society and culture. Of course, this type of literature does not represent Vietnamese literature overall; however, it shows that“Vietnamese literature in Taiwan”is currently attracting increased attention in Taiwan.
