日美安保體制在東亞區域安全的角色扮演及其演進：聚焦於台海安全

本文主要透過日本官方文獻的分析，彙整日美安保體制在東亞安全的角色扮演與演進，並聚焦於台海情勢。冷戰初期，美國在東亞建構同盟體系以圍堵中蘇陣營，日美安保條約扮演樞軸角色。中華民國與美國於1954年12月2日所締結的《中美共同防禦條約》，即屬於其中的一個環節，並且讓台灣安全與美日安保體制相連結。

This article summarizes the role-playing and evolution of Japan-US security arrangements in East Asian security, and focuses on the situation in the Taiwan Strait. In the early Cold War, the United States constructed an alliance system in East Asia to contain the Sino-Soviet Union, and the Japan-US security treaty played a pivotal role. The joint statement of the Japan-US summit issued on November 21, 1969, linked Taiwan with Japan’s security and became the“Taiwan Clause”of the Japan-US Security Treaty. The“Mutual Defense Treaty between the United States of America and the Republic of China”concluded between the Republic of China and the United States on December 2, 1954 is one of them, thus allowing Taiwan’s security and The Japan-US security treaty are linked together.
